Vaccination

Children
Recommended vaccinations
Recommendation against yellow fever
Mandatory vaccination for entry
A certificate when arriving from a country at risk is required from one year of age.

For children, it is especially important to select in advance a malaria prevention medication permitted for their age. The dosage is calculated by age and body weight only by a doctor.
For most tourists, the following are considered:
  • hepatitis A;
  • typhoid;
  • hepatitis B;
  • routine vaccinations;
  • rabies – for trips to remote areas, islands, natural areas and when access to medical care is limited.

There is a risk of malaria in many areas of the country. It is necessary to discuss preventive medication and protection against mosquito bites with a doctor.
For visiting Mozambique itself, the vaccine is not recommended.
When arriving directly from Russia or a country without a yellow fever risk, a certificate is usually not required.

It is required for travelers from one year of age arriving from a country at risk, including transit lasting more than 12 hours.
Before traveling, we recommend consulting your doctor.
